YEREVAN – Official statements from the Yerevan City Council have refuted recent claims regarding alleged overspending on the renovation of the municipal meeting hall. According to a municipal spokesperson, reports suggesting that 150 million drams were wasted on the project are inaccurate.
The spokesperson clarified that the actual cost of renovating the session hall, as documented in contractual agreements, amounts to 97,858,600 drams. The official emphasized that assertions of a 150 million dram expenditure are not only incorrect but appear to be deliberately misleading.
The municipality has reaffirmed its commitment to transparency in public spending, urging accurate reporting on municipal projects.
