ARMENIAN DIPLOMAT IN BERLIN DISCUSSES NEW REGIONAL COOPERATION ERA

In a significant diplomatic meeting in Berlin, Armenia’s Ambassador to Germany, Victor Yengibaryan, held talks with Adis Ahmetovic, a senior member of the German Bundestag’s Foreign Affairs Committee.

During the discussions, Ambassador Yengibaryan detailed the recent trilateral agreements signed by Armenia’s Prime Minister in Washington, describing them as foundational documents for regional stability. The ambassador characterized current developments as marking the beginning of an “era of cooperation and prosperity” between Armenia and Azerbaijan, emphasizing that this represents a fundamental shift toward peace throughout the region.

The Armenian diplomat further elaborated that the peace and interstate relations agreement creates substantial opportunities not only for the direct parties but also for neighboring states, the European Union, and specifically Germany. He highlighted that the reduction of security concerns following the agreement’s initialing removes previous obstacles for international investors, opening doors for collaboration in multiple sectors including information technology and tourism.

The dialogue also encompassed broader aspects of Armenia’s relationship with the European Union, underscoring the multidimensional nature of the ongoing diplomatic engagement.
