ARMENIA, TURKEY ENVOYS MEET IN YEREVAN TO ADVANCE NORMALIZATION PROCESS

YEREVAN – The Armenian and Turkish special representatives for normalization talks held their sixth meeting in the Armenian capital on Friday, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to moving the bilateral dialogue forward.

During the discussions, the envoys reviewed progress made since their previous encounters and exchanged views on implementing agreements reached during their July meeting regarding border-related matters. Participants in the talks expressed mutual interest in accelerating the normalization timeline.

The meeting represents another step in the ongoing diplomatic engagement between the two neighboring countries, who have been working to establish regular diplomatic relations and open their shared border after decades of tension.
