ARMENIAN AND U.S. OFFICIALS DISCUSS STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP AND REGIONAL COOPERATION

YEREVAN – The Armenian Foreign Minister held talks on Friday with the visiting head of the U.S. State Department’s Bureau for Europe and Eurasian Affairs, focusing on deepening bilateral ties and advancing regional initiatives.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed progress in the strategic partnership between Armenia and the United States, including follow-up actions on agreements signed earlier this year. Discussions highlighted potential collaboration in sectors such as energy, artificial intelligence, and innovation.

The officials also addressed the implementation of a trilateral declaration involving Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the United States, with particular attention to frameworks aimed at fostering international peace and prosperity. Both sides emphasized the importance of developing regional transport and infrastructure networks founded on principles of peace and connectivity.

The Armenian minister acknowledged the ongoing support and engagement of the U.S. side in these efforts.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on current international and regional developments.
