Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has declared that Ukraine will not cede any territory as part of potential peace negotiations with Russia. Speaking at an international conference, Zelensky emphasized that territorial compromises would not halt Russian aggression but would instead create security vulnerabilities across Europe.
The Ukrainian leader framed his country’s defense as directly linked to continental stability, stating that security assurances for Ukraine inherently protect all European nations. He described this connection as increasingly evident in current geopolitical dynamics.
Zelensky also addressed China’s potential influence in resolving the conflict, urging the international community to develop strategies encouraging Beijing to leverage its relationship with Moscow. He stressed the importance of diplomatic efforts to persuade China to use its position to help bring the war to a conclusion.
