TRUMP AGAIN CONFUSES ARMENIA WITH ALBANIA IN HIGH-LEVEL MEETING

During a joint press conference with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, former US President Donald Trump once again mistakenly referred to Armenia as Albania while discussing regional diplomacy.

“Just imagine we resolved the situation between Abrabyan and Albania,” Trump stated, incorrectly naming the countries involved in long-standing negotiations. “It took years. It could never be settled,” he added, though the specific context of these remarks remained unclear.

Earlier in the day, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had acknowledged Trump’s previous naming errors, suggesting such mistakes are common among world leaders. “Every head of state makes errors in their statements,” Pashinyan noted, referencing Trump’s social media correction of the earlier confusion.

The repeated geographical confusion during diplomatic discussions has drawn attention to the precision required in international relations.
