NETANYAHU TO CONFRONT UN ASSEMBLY OVER PALESTINIAN STATEHOOD PUSH

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared he will use his upcoming United Nations address to counter what he describes as efforts threatening Israel’s existence. Speaking during a cabinet meeting, Netanyahu vowed to present what he called Israel’s truth about its “just struggle against evil forces.”

The Israeli leader outlined his philosophy of achieving “peace through strength” and pledged to combat what he characterized as false propaganda campaigns. He specifically referenced international movements supporting Palestinian statehood, which he indicated would be a central focus of his UN appearance.

Netanyahu revealed that following his General Assembly speech, he will meet with U.S. President Donald Trump. This will mark their fourth meeting since Trump’s return to office, a frequency the Israeli leader noted exceeds that of any other world leader’s engagement with the American president.

The diplomatic developments come amid growing international momentum toward Palestinian recognition. Several European nations have recently announced plans to formally recognize Palestinian statehood, though Netanyahu’s administration maintains strong opposition to such moves.

The Prime Minister’s UN address is expected to outline Israel’s position on regional security matters and its vision for future peace negotiations.
