ARMENIA’S PATH TO SOVEREIGNTY DEPENDS ON NATIONAL RESPONSIBILITY, SAYS PREMIER

ARMENIA – The nation’s citizens have the right to a life of prosperity and contentment, and it is their duty to build that future through their own efforts. This message was delivered by the country’s leader during a public address at the Independence Day celebrations in Armavir.

In his remarks, the head of government compared the journey toward full sovereignty to operating a vehicle. He noted that the state functions like a car, capable of transporting the populace toward progress. But just as any vehicle requires regular upkeep, the state also demands care, discipline, and adherence to international norms. Only through such commitment, he stressed, can true liberty, security, and welfare be secured.

“We are not merely dreaming of a brighter tomorrow—we are determined to make that future a reality today,” the official stated.

He further emphasized that the greatest tribute to those who sacrificed for the nation’s freedom is the achievement of widespread happiness and stability. Honoring the fallen, he expressed deep reverence for the martyrs who gave their lives so that Armenia could experience genuine independence. In a poignant moment during his speech, he knelt in silence as a gesture of respect.
