INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT FOR PALESTINIAN STATEHOOD GROWS AS KEY NATIONS EXTEND RECOGNITION

In a significant diplomatic development, the United Kingdom and Australia have formally recognized the state of Palestine. This move aligns with a broader international trend, following Canada’s earlier acknowledgment of Palestine during the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

To date, 147 out of the 193 United Nations member states have extended recognition to Palestine, reflecting growing global consensus on the matter. Armenia is among the nations that have previously affirmed Palestinian statehood.
