BAKU – The Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, recently held discussions with the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The meeting centered on the current state and future trajectory of relations between Azerbaijan and the EU. Officials focused on deepening the political dialogue and broadening cooperation in key sectors, including trade, economics, energy security, and transportation infrastructure.
The talks also included an exchange of views on the regional situation, with particular attention paid to the ongoing normalization and peace efforts between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to a stable and prosperous South Caucasus.
