Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has declared that European nations must choose between diplomatic cooperation or confrontation with Tehran. Speaking ahead of meetings with European counterparts in New York, Araghchi emphasized that resolving the ongoing nuclear crisis is possible only through diplomatic channels.
He stated that Iran remains prepared to engage in dialogue that addresses both the interests of its people and the nation’s security concerns. However, Araghchi warned that should diplomatic efforts fail in the coming days, Iran will take necessary measures to protect its interests.
The remarks signal a critical juncture in Iran’s relations with European powers, with Tehran urging a clear stance from countries such as Britain, Germany, and France.
