The United States has reportedly blocked a proposed transfer of Tomahawk missiles from Turkey to Ukraine, despite the weapon system appearing on Kyiv’s official procurement list. According to sources familiar with the matter, President Donald Trump declined to authorize the transaction through NATO channels.
This development follows earlier reports that Ukrainian leadership had formally requested the advanced missile systems through diplomatic channels. The decision maintains the current limitations on Ukraine’s access to certain categories of Western military technology.
