In recent remarks, Trump characterized his discussions with the Azerbaijani president, who has governed for over two decades, as particularly productive. He also made reference to what he described as “a wonderful boy” from the other nation’s leadership, though he did not provide additional specifics.
The former president expressed confidence in his diplomatic approach from the outset. “I recognized immediately that we could resolve this conflict,” Trump stated. “Ultimately, we achieved exactly that outcome.”
