Opposition parliamentarians from Armenia’s delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe have held discussions with the body’s co-rapporteurs for Armenia. The meeting included exchanges on the current state of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, ongoing security concerns, and the situation of Armenian detainees held in Azerbaijan.
The lawmakers also raised issues regarding what they described as anti-democratic trends within the country, focusing particularly on cases they consider to involve political prisoners.
