U.S. IMPOSES SANCTIONS ON TURKISH FIRMS OVER TIES TO IRANIAN MILITARY

The United States has levied sanctions against a group of Turkish companies and individuals for their alleged involvement in networks supporting Iran’s military-industrial complex. The action, announced by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, targets 21 entities and 17 individuals based in Turkey, as well as other participants from Iran, China, Hong Kong, Germany, Portugal, and Uruguay.

Authorities stated that these networks pose a threat to the safety of U.S. military personnel, judicial systems, and civilians. The sanctions are intended to disrupt activities that could endanger American interests and security.
