EVERY CLUB DREAMS OF HAALAND, SAYS GUARDIOLA AMID BARCELONA LINKS

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has acknowledged that top European clubs, including Barcelona, are naturally interested in signing star striker Erling Haaland.

When asked about reported interest from the Catalan side, Guardiola noted that it is no surprise any elite club would want a player of Haaland’s caliber. “Can you name one club that doesn’t dream of having Haaland? Of course Barcelona would like to have him, just like every other club in the world,” he stated.

Guardiola emphasized that the Norwegian international is under a long-term contract with Manchester City, which runs through 2034. “He is not a foolish player—he wouldn’t have signed such a lengthy deal if he didn’t want to be here,” the coach remarked. Still, he conceded that football is unpredictable, and future developments remain uncertain.

Haaland continues to be a central figure for Manchester City, though speculation about his long-term future is likely to persist given his extraordinary goal-scoring record.
