A Yerevan court has ruled to maintain the house arrest of Aghvan Arshakyan, a defendant in the “Holy Struggle” case. The decision came after a judge rejected a motion submitted by the prosecution.
During the hearing, Arshakyan’s defense attorney argued that his client’s severe health condition makes it impossible to conduct an investigation. The lawyer emphasized that Arshakyan requires constant medical supervision and presented evidence of his deteriorating health.
The court ultimately sided with maintaining the current preventive measure, keeping Arshakyan under house arrest as the legal proceedings continue.
