YEREVAN – Prosecutors have formally requested the court to confiscate approximately 4 billion drams in assets connected to former President Serzh Sargsyan. The prosecution has also filed a motion asking the judge to implement measures that would secure the property claim during ongoing legal proceedings.
Court documents indicate the case centers on allegations concerning land transactions near Isakov Avenue and the Yerablur Military Pantheon. The prosecution alleges these transactions occurred during a specific period in the spring of 2000.
The legal proceedings continue as the court considers the prosecution’s requests regarding the substantial financial claim and property seizure measures.
