ISRAELI MILITARY INVESTIGATES GAZA HOSPITAL SURVEILLANCE OPERATION

The Israeli military has released initial findings from its probe into the Nasser hospital complex in Gaza, claiming to have uncovered a Hamas-operated surveillance camera used to monitor Israeli troop movements. According to the investigation report, the camera was positioned to track military activities in the area, prompting what the army described as a necessary security response.

Military officials indicated that while preliminary conclusions have been reached, further examination is required to address certain operational aspects that remain under review.

The hospital complex previously came under attack when Israeli forces struck the building’s fourth floor, followed by a subsequent strike that hit the area as emergency responders and journalists were on site. The incident resulted in numerous casualties, including multiple media professionals among the deceased.
