USAID AGENCY SHUT DOWN IN GOVERNMENT RESTRUCTURING

The United States Agency for International Development has been officially dissolved, according to an announcement from Secretary of State Marco Rubions. The disclosure came through the Secretary’s official social media account.

In his statement, Rubions confirmed that essential programs previously managed by USAID have been transferred to the State Department’s jurisdiction. The Secretary emphasized the financial benefits of this organizational change, stating that the consolidation has already resulted in savings amounting to tens of billions of dollars since the beginning of the year.

This structural overhaul represents one of the most significant changes to America’s foreign assistance apparatus in recent years, consolidating international development efforts under the State Department’s direct oversight.
