A senior administrative change has been made in the governance structure of Armenia’s Lori region. Kamo Alexan Ashrahyan has been relieved of his duties as the Secretary General of the Staff of the Lori Regional Governor, effective October 1, 2025.
The decision was formalized by the Prime Minister, citing relevant clauses of the Law on Civil Service. Ashrahyan had been serving in this capacity since his initial appointment in July 2021. No immediate successor for the position was announced.
