YEREVAN – Alashkert secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Urartu in a closely contested Fastex Premier League match on Thursday.
The game’s only goal came in the 58th minute from Vahe Ghorgyan, whose decisive strike proved enough to separate the two sides.
With this result, Alashkert has now collected six points from its opening matches, moving the team into fourth place in the league standings. Urartu remains in second position with seven points.
