YEREVAN – Ameriabank has joined the FinTech Armenia Association as a founding member, marking a significant step in the country’s financial technology sector. The move aims to strengthen collaboration between the banking industry and the rapidly growing fintech ecosystem.
The association is focused on building a comprehensive fintech hub in Yerevan and advancing the sector across areas such as payment systems, capital markets, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and banking transformation. Ameriabank will participate in key institutional working groups, including those focused on banking transformation, startups, regulatory sandboxes, and education.
A senior bank representative emphasized the institution’s commitment to combining financial expertise with advanced technology and human-centered values. The partnership is seen as a continuation of the bank’s innovation journey, aimed at fostering sustainable growth in Armenia’s fintech industry both locally and internationally.
