ANDRANIK CHAMICHYAN RELEASED TO HOUSE ARREST IN “STRAYBALL” TERRORISM CASE

An 18-year-old suspect in the high-profile “Strayball” terrorism investigation has been released from custody. Andranik Chamichyan was transferred from Nubarashen penitentiary to his residence, where he will remain under house arrest for two months.

The decision follows legal proceedings where Chamichyan faced accusations of preparing acts of terrorism. His defense counsel confirmed the transfer occurred Monday evening.

The broader investigation involves multiple defendants, including individuals with political affiliations. Among those detained are Taron Manukyan, son of political figure Gegham Manukyan, and Arsen Martoyan, a member of a Yerevan city political committee.

The case continues to develop as authorities pursue their investigation into the alleged terrorist network.
