ARMENIA TO OVERHAUL GOVERNMENT STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

YEREVAN – A high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has concluded with plans to introduce a comprehensive reform of the nation’s strategic management framework.

The discussions centered on aligning Armenia’s governmental planning and performance systems with international best practices. Key reform areas include the consolidation of strategic documents, the establishment of clear methodological standards, and the implementation of unified reporting formats. The new system is designed to enhance performance monitoring and ensure a more participatory and transparent reporting process.

During the meeting, officials exchanged various proposals aimed at increasing the overall efficiency of strategic management. Following the debate, the Prime Minister issued instructions for the draft concept to be revised, incorporating the feedback from the discussions, before being submitted for final approval.
