ARMENIA-TURKEY BORDER COMMISSION TO CONVENE IN YEREVAN FOR NORMALIZATION TALKS

YEREVAN – A delegation of Turkish officials is set to arrive in Armenia for a new round of discussions focused on the normalization of bilateral relations. The talks, which will take place within the framework of the ongoing dialogue process, are scheduled to be held in the coming days.

The Turkish delegation will be led by the country’s special representative for the normalization process. During the meetings, the parties are expected to review the implementation of previously agreed-upon steps and assess the operational readiness of a key border crossing point.

The upcoming session follows reports that technical teams from both sides are preparing to conduct a joint inspection at the border checkpoint in the near future. The meeting is seen as a significant step in the gradual thawing of relations between the two neighboring states.
