YEREVAN – In a tightly contested UEFA Conference League match, FC Noah of Armenia emerged with a 1-0 victory over Croatian champions HNK Rijeka. The crucial goal came early in the first half, securing a vital three points for the Yerevan-based club.
The match’s decisive moment arrived in the 6th minute when Bosnian forward Nardi Mulahusajinović found the net, scoring what would stand as the game’s only goal. The visiting Croatian side’s challenge was compounded in the 30th minute when midfielder Niko Janković was shown a straight red card for a serious foul, forcing his team to play the remainder of the match with ten men.
