ARMENIAN CHILD SINGER WINS INTERNATIONAL PRIZE IN BELARUS

An 11-year-old vocalist from Armenia has claimed a prestigious award at this year’s Slavyansk Bazar International Festival for young performers in Vitebsk, Belarus. The competition, running from July 7-15, showcases emerging musical talent from across the region.

Representing Armenia in the children’s division, Milana Ordakyan delivered standout performances of contemporary and classical pieces that impressed both audiences and the professional judging panel. Her renditions included a modern pop selection and a traditional composition, demonstrating impressive vocal range and technical skill.

The young artist’s achievements were formally recognized during Friday’s gala ceremony, where she received the CIS Friendship “Crystal Note” award for her outstanding contributions to the competition.

The festival continues with additional performances scheduled through next week, including participation from another Armenian representative in the young adult category.
