YEREVAN – The Armenian translation of Clayton M. Christensen’s influential business book, “The Innovator’s Dilemma,” has been published, supported by a local financial institution.
The work explores a central question in the corporate world: why successful companies often fail to maintain their leadership. It delves into the dynamics between established and groundbreaking technologies, analyzing how leading firms can begin to decline and proposing strategies to address unmet customer needs.
A presentation for the new Armenian edition was held on February 28, gathering representatives from the supporting bank and Antares Publishing House, alongside readers and literature enthusiasts. The event featured a discussion of the book’s core concepts and a question-and-answer session led by the publishing house’s director.
An executive from the bank highlighted the institution’s focus on backing significant educational initiatives. He stated that the partnership aims to add valuable works to Armenian-language literature, noting that the book offers essential insights for strategic development across all sectors and can guide current and future innovators in their strategic planning.
A representative from the publishing house commented on the significance of the bank’s involvement, describing the act of supporting educational publications as a responsible and innovative endeavor.
Attendees also included winners of a recent book giveaway, who received copies of the newly released edition. This project marks a continuation of the collaboration between the two organizations, following a previous joint effort to publish another major work on economics. The bank has reiterated its commitment to social responsibility through ongoing support for various educational and community-focused programs.
