YEREVAN – The Armenian government has approved structural reforms within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including the creation of a dedicated European Integration Department.
According to an official decision published today, the new department will operate within the ministry’s main professional structural framework. The reforms also involve merging the Political Programming Department into the Diplomatic Operations Department.
The changes, which take effect immediately upon publication, reflect ongoing administrative adjustments within Armenia’s diplomatic apparatus. The European Integration Department’s establishment signals continued focus on European partnership frameworks within Armenia’s foreign policy architecture.
Additional amendments to the Ministry’s charter include removing outdated provisions and formally incorporating the new European Integration Department into the official organizational structure. These administrative updates follow standard governmental procedures for institutional restructuring.
