ARMENIAN LEADER ATTENDS SCO SUMMIT IN CHINA

The Prime Minister of Armenia, accompanied by his wife and daughter, is currently in China participating in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit. The Armenian delegation is taking part in high-level meetings alongside other member states of the international organization.

The SCO summit brings together leaders from across Eurasia to discuss regional security and economic cooperation. Armenia’s participation signals its continued engagement with multilateral diplomatic forums aimed at fostering international partnerships.

The Armenian leader’s family members are also present during the diplomatic visit, though their participation appears to be in a personal capacity rather than as official representatives. Such family accompaniment during international summits has become increasingly common among world leaders.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization continues to serve as an important platform for dialogue on security and economic matters among its member states, with this year’s summit expected to address pressing regional issues.
