YEREVAN – Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has called on political opponents to engage in public discussion regarding the nation’s security situation, suggesting that declining casualty figures have created favorable conditions for dialogue.
In a social media statement, the Armenian leader noted that with military losses no longer escalating, opposition figures who previously avoided debates now lack justification for their absence from public discourse. “The actual casualty count remains limited, and the circumstances that previously prevented dialogue have substantially improved,” Pashinyan stated. “The question now stands whether political leaders will honor their commitment to participate in these crucial discussions.”
The challenge comes amid what observers describe as improved stability along border regions, though specific security details remain classified.
