YEREVAN – Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with representatives from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg to discuss Armenia’s ongoing reform agenda.
The discussions centered on Armenia’s cooperation with the Council of Europe, with particular focus on strengthening democratic institutions, advancing judicial reforms, and enhancing human rights protections.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the Council of Europe’s support in advancing Armenia’s democratic transformation. He reiterated the government’s commitment to deepening cooperation in legal reforms and human rights initiatives.
European officials acknowledged the significant progress Armenia has made in its reform efforts and expressed confidence in the country’s continued implementation of its international commitments. They confirmed the Monitoring Committee’s readiness to maintain close partnership with Armenian authorities as the reform process continues.
