COURT HEARING SCHEDULED FOR CASE INVOLVING RELATIVES OF MISSING SOLDIERS

A judicial proceeding concerning mediation efforts for families of missing military personnel has been scheduled for 9:00 PM at the Yerevan Civil Court of First Instance.

The case has been assigned to Judge Masis Melkonyan, who will oversee the mediation process between the detainees’ relatives and relevant authorities. The session aims to address legal matters surrounding service members who remain unaccounted for following military operations.

The court will examine documentation and hear arguments related to the circumstances of the soldiers’ disappearances and the subsequent detention of their family members during protest actions. The mediation process represents an effort to resolve the situation through judicial channels rather than continued confrontation.

Legal observers note that such cases have become increasingly common as families seek answers about missing loved ones from recent conflicts. The evening timing of the hearing allows working family members to attend the proceedings without conflict with employment obligations.
