CSTO NATIONS DEPLOY FORCES FOR JOINT MILITARY DRILLS IN BELARUS

Military contingents from member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization have nearly completed their deployment to Belarus ahead of the upcoming “West-2025” joint exercises. The drills are scheduled to run from August 31 through September 6 and will take place across multiple Belarusian training grounds, including facilities in Losvido and Lepelsk.

According to official statements, the majority of participating units have already arrived at the Losvido training area, where they are currently preparing for the multinational maneuvers. The exercises represent part of the CSTO’s regular rotation of military training events, which are hosted alternately by different member nations.

The Collective Security Treaty Organization comprises six member states working collectively on regional security matters. The “West-2025” exercises will involve coordinated operations between various components of the CSTO’s collective forces, focusing on interoperability and joint operational capabilities.
