FBI UNCOVERS CLASSIFIED MATERIALS IN RAID ON FORMER TRUMP ADVISOR’S PROPERTY

Federal investigators have reportedly seized sensitive government documents during a search of properties connected to John Bolton, who previously served as National Security Advisor. The materials, discovered during an August 22 operation, included classified information pertaining to weapons of mass destruction and United States government strategic communications.

The search warrant execution targeted both Bolton’s Washington office and his Maryland residence, resulting in the confiscation of multiple computers and electronic devices. The investigation appears to center around potential violations of national security protocols regarding the handling of protected information.

Authorities have indicated the search was authorized as part of an inquiry into possible unlawful retention of classified materials. The former official has reportedly stated he became aware of the investigation through media reports rather than direct notification from law enforcement.

Bolton served as National Security Advisor from 2018 through 2019 during the previous administration. No arrests have been made in connection with the ongoing investigation.
