A 33-year-old resident of Artimet village has been detained for operating an illegal fuel business without state registration or the necessary permits. Authorities reported that the suspect was selling diesel fuel and gasoline from a location on Artimeti Charents Street, earning an estimated monthly income of 600,000 to 700,000 drams.
The investigation was launched after police received a tip about the illicit activity. During an inspection on August 12, a 45-year-old man was found assisting with fuel dispensing operations at the site.
The primary suspect has been taken into custody and placed in a detention center as the investigation continues to determine the full scope of the illegal operation.
