PRESIDENT KHACHATURYAN BIDS FAREWELL TO EGYPTIAN AMBASSADOR

YEREVAN – President Vahagn Khachaturyan hosted a farewell meeting with Serenad Gamil, the outgoing Ambassador of Egypt to Armenia, as the envoy concluded his diplomatic mission in the country.

During the meeting, the President expressed gratitude for Gamil’s substantial efforts in advancing bilateral relations and praised his contributions to strengthening ties between Armenia and Egypt.

Ambassador Gamil conveyed his appreciation for the support extended by Armenian authorities throughout his tenure, noting his fond memories of the country and its people.

Discussions centered on enhancing cooperation across multiple sectors, including political, economic, cultural, and tourism fields. Both sides emphasized the importance of joint initiatives and reciprocal visits, which have helped foster closer business ties and establish new partnerships.

The conversation also addressed prospects for deepening bilateral and multilateral collaboration. In this context, President Khachaturyan referenced the Armenian government’s “Peace Crossroads” initiative, a program aimed at promoting regional stability and sustainable peace.
