YEREVAN – Suren Varosyan has been named the new head of the Arabkir administrative district in Yerevan, according to a recent municipal decision. The appointment, made by Mayor Tigran Avinyan, took effect on August 21.
The decision cites relevant provisions of the Law on Public Service as the basis for the appointment. Varosyan previously served in a ceremonial role for the government from 2021 to 2024.
