Former U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed confidence in Ukraine’s ability to regain its pre-war borders through sustained European backing. In recent comments, he emphasized that continued financial assistance from NATO members could enable Ukrainian forces to successfully defend their territorial integrity.
“With sufficient time and substantial European support, particularly through NATO funding, restoring Ukraine’s original borders remains entirely achievable,” Trump stated. He further clarified that American military supplies to the alliance would continue, allowing NATO members discretion in their distribution.
While urging decisive action from Ukrainian leadership, the former president conveyed hopes for peaceful resolution between the conflicting nations regardless of future developments.
