Two individuals, aged 22 and 29, were arrested on September 24 in the Martuni-Getashen settlement following a joint police operation.
During a personal search, the 22-year-old suspect was found in possession of a glass pipe containing over five grams of methamphetamine. Authorities reported that the substance was obtained through the Telegram messaging platform.
A second suspect, a 29-year-old man, was also found with methamphetamine. According to the investigation, the drug had been supplied to him by the younger suspect, and the two had reportedly used the substance together.
A search of the 22-year-old’s residence led to the discovery of additional narcotics, including packages of cannabis and cannabis plants.
Both individuals are currently in custody as the preliminary investigation continues.
