U.S. EXCLUDED FROM MAJOR NUCLEAR CONFERENCE IN MOSCOW

American representatives will not be invited to the upcoming World Atomic Week, a major international nuclear energy conference scheduled to take place in Moscow later this month. The head of Russia’s state nuclear corporation, Rosatom, confirmed the decision when questioned about U.S. participation.

The forum, set for late September, will mark the 80th anniversary of Russia’s nuclear industry. It is expected to draw a wide range of participants, including officials from countries with nuclear energy programs, regulatory bodies, scientific experts, and business leaders.

Organizers describe the event as a key global platform for dialogue on nuclear technology and development. The exclusion of the United States underscores ongoing geopolitical tensions affecting international scientific and industrial cooperation.
